I read on Frequent Miler last night about a new perk of the US Bank FlexPerks card – free Gogo wifi.

I have to say that my FlexPerks card has not gotten a ton of usage since I got the signup bonus during the last Winter Olympics.  I know that there are plenty of folks who get good mileage (pardon the pun) out of the card, but I’m just sitting on 32,000 points and (half-heartedly) looking for a ~$600 redemption

But now it appears that there’s a new US Bank FlexPerks Visa card benefit – 12 free Gogo in-flight Internet passes

Note that you DO have to register, and your 12 passes will expire 12 months after you register, so you might want to wait to register until you know that you’re going to use them.  I’ve actually got 2 trips coming up soon, but tragically they’re both on Southwest Airlines, and they don’t use Gogo

To register for the US Bank FlexPerks Gogo inflight Internet benefit, you can go to https://promotions.gogoair.com/promotion/visaUS.do – put in your 16 digit FlexPerks card number

One interesting note from the terms and conditions

Eligibility for this benefit is determined by U.S. Bank. In order to be eligible, you must have made at least one purchase (purchase minus credits and returns) in the past 12 months prior to registering for the benefit, and Card is not past due or otherwise inactive. If your Card has been inactive and you make a purchase to qualify for the benefit, it may take 2-3 weeks to become eligible for the benefit
