I was reading Mommy Points this morning, and she referenced a Flight Deal post about some crazy deals from the mainland US to Hawaii.

Roundtrip fares to Honolulu from either Phoenix, Dallas or Salt Lake City on United Airlines are available for under $400, including taxes.

Here’s a screenshot from Google Flights, though at least at the time of this writing, there was plenty of availability in both directions.

Not so good for mileage runs

Unlike last week’s domestic airline deals that were on American, these are not great for mileage runs, because you only earn redeemable miles based on the PRICE of the ticket, not on the actual number of miles flown.

Still, an under $400 round trip flight to Hawaii is a pretty good deal, if you live in one of these cities (or can easily get there!)

These prices are likely to go pretty quickly, so if they’re already gone by the time you read this, you might want to check out 4 reasons why you’ll miss out on the next mistake fare.  This isn’t a mistake fare (just a really good deal), but the same rules apply!
