Earlier this month, I detailed my most recent credit card signups

Before I start, let me repeat my disclaimer:

Before signing up for a ton of credit cards is that you go slow, understand what you’re doing, and only go as fast as you are comfortable with.  Don’t sign up for a credit card just because some guy on the Internet says you should!!!

While I was instantly approved for several of the cards, 3 of the cards (Amex SPG Business, Chase Marriott Business and Citi Prestige that showed up as the dreaded “Pending”

Resolving my pending credit card applications

I wrote last week that Not calling the reconsideration line had worked again! – my Citi Prestige card had been approved without my having to do anything and the card had arrived in the mail.

Today, I got 2 more notices in the mail

First of all – Carolyn’s SPG Business Card was also approved automatically without having to call which was great because if there’s anything that she hates more than calling credit card companies, it’s calling credit card companies about her “business”

Chase Marriott Business card application reconsideration

So, sounds like a call to Chase is now warranted – I’ll have to give them a call this week.  I have heard anecdotally that they are cracking down on business applications.  Thankfully, I actually do have a real business with actual revenue, so I’m hoping things will go smoothly

How has your experience been applying for Chase cards?
