I got an email this afternoon from a contact at IHG – they are having a flash sale on 2 of their most high-end properties: The Venetian and The Palazzo. These hotels are both in Las Vegas and normally go for 50,000 points a night.

The flash sale starts tomorrow (March 10th) at noon, and goes until noon on March 11th.

  • The IHG Rewards Club Reward Nights flash sale will launch at noon ET tomorrow, March 10
  • Each Reward Night at The Venetian and The Palazzo, an InterContinental Alliance Resort will be only 25,000 IHG Rewards Club points when booked between noon ET March 10 and noon ET on March 11 for stays March 10 – December 28, 2015
  • The Venetian and The Palazzo are the world’s largest five-diamond, four-star resorts featuring all of the classic charm of Italy with many fine dining restaurants, indulgent shopping, gondola rides through St. Mark’s square and casinos.
  • Bookings for this flash sale can be made at this link:  www.ihg.com/vegasflashsale

Personally, this is not super exciting for me – the family and I typically prefer “budget” hotels to the super-nice ones

But if you’re heading to Vegas and this looks like your style – tomorrow would be a great day to book them for 50% off!  If you’re like me and looking for more of the lower-end IHG properties, you might be interested in this map of all of the current IHG Point Breaks hotels that you can book for only 5,000 IHG points!
