I got an email from Chase today, promoting a new partnership with Uber, and indicating that new users can get a free ride of up to $30, compliments of Chase with promo code chaseuber

chase-uber

I got one email for each of my Chase cards (my Freedom, my wife’s Freedom and my wife’s Ink card), so although it’s possibly targeted, first glance appears that it was sent out to all users of Chase brand cards.  It says that you need to “make sure you link your Chase card to your Uber account”, so I’m not sure if there is an additional step that will verify and link your card (to make sure that you actually have a Chase account)

Give it a try if you’re looking to open up an Uber account (and certainly if you already have a Chase card)
