With the holidays coming up, many people are doing a lot of shopping. What better way to get some miles and points than by going through online shopping portals for shopping that you were already planning on doing!

Of course, don’t spend any extra money just to get points – that kind of defeats the whole purpose. Still, this is a good data point to help you make an informed decision about where to spend your money.
I got an email this morning about a bonus that Southwest is offering.
I believe that the 750 bonus points for $175 in spend was an offer that was already ongoing – here’s the fine print on it
Offer valid between December 13, 2014 at 12:01 AM ET through December 23, 2014 at 11:59 PM ET. Member will receive a one-time bonus of 750 bonus points in addition to the standard points earned from Rapid Rewards Shopping®. Additionally – 5x at Walmart
The other nice thing is that for today only (12/15) you can get 5x at Walmart. This is especially nice because Walmart typically doesn’t get very many bonuses on online shopping.  They say that it’s today only (though sometimes it lasts longer than they say)
Too bad I did all my Christmas shopping last week…. 😛
