I don’t always post every single fare deal that is out there, since there are a lot of good sites out there that cover these deals, like The Flight Deal and I usually focus on other things

(SEE ALSO: 4 reasons why you’ll miss out on the next amazing fare deal)

Still, I will post them occasionally when I think they’re really good deals, or if they’re available from places that are interesting to me (read: close to Ohio).  This is one of those times.  Loyalty Traveler is another site that often posts fare deals, though with a California focus.  He recently posted about American Airlines fares in the $400 and $500 range to Europe from Delta and American hubs and focus cities).  In both cases, the fares start in August / September and in some cases you can still find fares in the spring of next year

$400-$500 fares from Delta cities (MSP / ATL / CVG / DTW / SLC) to Europe

First one is from Delta hubs and focus cities such as:

  • Minneapolis
  • Atlanta
  • Cincinnati
  • Detroit
  • Salt Lake City

Fares go to Amsterdam, Nice, Venice, Paris and Rome

I’m enjoying seeing some fare deals out of my home airport of Cincinnati which we don’t see very often!  Apparently American thinks Cincinnati is still a Delta hub, when it really isn’t

Deals are usually leaving on Wed / Thurs / Friday and returning on Monday or Tuesday.  Here’s an example of Cincinnati to Rome for $477

The Colosseum is only about a mile away from the Radisson Blu Rome hotel

$400-$500 fares from United cities (CLE / EWR / IAH) to Europe

American is also attacking United hubs and focus cities

  • Cleveland
  • Newark
  • Houston

For these cities, the deals are to Star Alliance hub cities of Brussels, Zurich, and Frankfurt

Good luck out there and happy booking!
