Tickets to the most popular Broadway musical Hamilton are hard to get, even with permanent stages set in New York City and Chicago. San Francisco is the first city for the Hamilton National Tour and tickets were just as insane when they went on sale earlier this year. If you live along the west coast and did not want to fly across the country to watch the performance, here is your second chance. The Los Angeles Hamilton show is going on sale in April!

The Los Angeles Hamilton performance will be at performed at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. The show will run from August 11 to December 30, 2017. Performances are held at 8pm Tuesdays to Sundays, 2pm on Saturdays and 1pm on Sundays. There are two separate ticket sale dates:

  • American Express Card member presale at 10am PST on Wednesday April 19, 2017
  • Public sale at 10am PST on Sunday April 30, 2017

If you are Centurion or Platinum cardholders, chances are you will be able to purchase tickets through American Express Platinum Concierge. I would recommend calling Platinum Concierge at 800-525-3355 Option 2, now or even a few days before the Amex presale date to find out more details.

Ticket prices will range from $85 to $225 with a select number of premium seats available for all performances. Prices will be higher for performance during the holidays. Tickets can be purchased through:

There is a maximum purchase limit of 6 tickets per household for the engagement. There will be a lottery for forty $10 Orchestra seats for all performances. Details for lottery tickets will be announced later.

Besides San Francisco and Los Angeles, the Hamilton National Tour might be coming to a town near you. Check here often to see if your city has been added to the list.
