Last week I mentioned the great fares to Europe from multiple hubs, including to Brussels. Flights to the capital of Belgium have expanded to numerous cities across the east coast this fall all the way through to next spring. For the most part these prices are widely available, with flights at these fares every weekday and plenty of weekends day except for around Christmas and New Years. While these are great for fall travel, these are excellent for spring break bike trips, beer tours, coffee and chocolate relaxation, river and canal explorations, and all things Belgian. Both United Airlines/Star Alliance and American Airlines/Oneworld Alliance are involved, meaning you have airline options as well as departure cities.

These are basic economy fares, which includes a carry-on and meals, but not seat selection. Buying up to main cabin is from $120 to $160 more, which provides very good prices from the cheapest airports. These fares re mainly available directly from airlines, so search Google Flights for the dates, and book directly from the links there. This is a fantastic opportunity to visit Belgium and maybe explore northern Europe as well, but I wouldn’t expect these fares to be available from so many places for very long, so act quickly.

One great aspect of Brussels is that you can get to so many places by train in a very short time – Paris, London, Amsterdam, lots of cities in Germany & Netherlands + the rest of Belgium.
My husband and I love Brussels so much, we hope to rent out our house in the U.S. and live there for a while (after my 100-yr-old mother and our 11-yr-old dog are gone).
We’ve heard good things, and I’m considering a spring trip, though we’re kind of backed up. Any specific recommendations?
