I asked the other day whether you can transfer Barclay Arrival miles between accounts, like you can with Chase Ultimate Rewards. It seems like a very useful thing to be able to do, especially for my situation, where I was a few miles short of being able to redeem for a recent rental car purchase:
I suspected the answer was no, as I could not find a way to do it on their site, but I thought that I would contact Barclays just to be sure.
I got a response this morning so, just to close the loop, here it is

We unfortunately cannot transfer miles from one Barclaycard Arrival Plus World MasterCard to another Barclaycard Arrival Plus World MasterCard. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

So the first guess was correct – we can’t transfer points / miles between accounts. Guess I’ve got some MSing in my future!!
