The USTA’s fourth week of Daily Getaways starts tomorrow, and with it we’ve got some of the most contentious deals of the year. Earlier last week, Hertz unveiled a massive, no-notice devaluation of its reward program- leaving its Daily Getaways offer useless and a whole horde of folks very upset. They’ve since updated their deals to reflect the new pricing scheme- so if you’re looking to get a rental at a pre-devaluation value, this is your last chance.

We’ve also got discounted Marriott gift cards and Universal Orlando packages, which are sure to sell out quickly. Remember, if you’re wanting to purchase, deals go live each weekday at 1pm ET, so be at your computer and ready at 12:59.

Last, and certainly least, we’ve got more of the much sought after and yet so scarce Las Vegas packages, which represent a good deal only if you enjoy the convenience of packaged deals over individual booking.

Thoughts

I’m most interested in the Hertz rental vouchers, as they represent the last remnants of the pre-devaluation rewards pricing. I’m sure these will be snapped up in a heartbeat though, so my odds are low of snagging one. Other than that, Marriott gift cards are a decent cash-equivalent value. Like many of you, I was Bonvoyed after the SPG-Marriott merger, and have since moved most of my business to Hilton (with my Diamond status acquired by the Aspire card). I’m especially looking forward to next week’s deals.

Which of these deals are you most excited about?
