Choice Points are / were on sale as part of Daily Getaways earlier today where you could get Choice Points for as low as 0.48 cents per point

Often these packages sell out very quickly (even with a limit of 2 purchases per package per account, so it’s possible that if you’ve learned the 4 best uses of Choice Points, you may still be jonesing for some additional Choice points.

Choice Hotels Spring 2018 promotion

The Choice Hotels Spring 2018 promotion is bringing back a promotion that they’ve run several times before – marketed as “Stay Twice. Earn a Free night“.

In reality, it’s not QUITE as exciting as it seems, as a) you get 8000 points, which IS enough points for a free night at the lowest category of hotel, but b) you just get 8000 points total from your 2 stays – so any points you’d “normally” get from the 2 stays essentially don’t count (see fine print below)

Choice Hotels Spring 2018 promo fine print

The fine print of the Choice Hotels Spring 2018 promotion say

  • You must register for the promotion first (I always recommend just registering for all promos like this so you don’t forget)
  • Book and stay between April 2nd 2018 and May 25th 2018
  • After a second qualifying stay with arrival between 04/02/2018 and 05/25/2018, members will be awarded a minimum of 5,000 and maximum of 8,000 bonus points, depending on the number of base points earned from the two (2) separate qualifying stays

I’ve had good luck with Choice points being quite useful in high price areas – see Clarion Hotel Sign in Stockholm and the Rodeway Inn and Suites in Yellowstone, where 16,000 Choice points got me a $290 room for more than half off!
