I received this offer for 3x up to 2500 miles on my Citi AAdvantage Executive card. But nothing ever on my ThankYou Premier card. I called and they knew nothing—as usual for Citi.
There’s a reason I so rarely use my Citi cards.
I find that to be true, where the right hand does not talk to the left. At times, we, the customers, are more aware of their programs.
So it’s 5x points on $500 spend in those listed categories.
I never understood why these promos are worded the way they are instead of the way I stated.
Ha! Exactly. I had to re-read that as well. So my understanding is just like yours, looks like in order to get the 2500 TYP, you’ll actually be needing to spend $500 in those categories listed.
I received the 5x points offer for my Citi Expedia card, which I never use, and I was shocked. Bonus points apply to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, drugstores, mass transit & commuter transportation vendors.
