Radisson hotels is back with another hefty promotion for the first quarter of 2019 where you can earn up to 120,000 bonus points. The points are awarded in a tiered fashion, with more bonus points as you progressively accrue more nights. If you have any planned upcoming Radisson stays, it certainly makes sense to sign up, as you will get at least a small number of extra points for just 1-2 nights.
Details of the 120,000-point Radisson promotion
The promotion runs from January 15 through March 31. Direct link to promotion. You must register for this promotion. Points are awarded as follows:
- Stay 1 night, earn 1,000 bonus points
- Stay 2 nights, earn 3,000 bonus points
- Stay 5 nights, earn 10,000 bonus points
- Stay 10 nights, earn 50,000 bonus points
- Stay 20 nights, earn 120,000 bonus points
The total of 120,000 bonus points is the maximum you can earn for this promotion, so the total points are cumulative for each tier. This was made clear in the terms and conditions where the number you earn at each milestone is spelled out in detail. Earning 3,000 Radisson points for really isn’t anything to get excited about. However, if you have a couple paid stays that could net you 10 nights, an extra 50,000 points would be pretty nice.
I know that Radisson points are a dime a dozen these days, but they still have their uses. There are still a number of hotels that are Category 1, requiring only 9,000 points per night. I’ve used points for a couple airport hotels that only cost 15,000 points per night, a much better deal than burning other, more valuable, hotel points.
