Last night Frequent Miler reported that Kroger and their subsidiaries is offering a digital coupon that takes the fee off of $100 Visa and Mastercard cards.  These cards are offered by US Bank and should be reloadable to Bluebird or Serve

Kroger is the parent company of grocery stores including: Baker’s, City Market, Dillon’s, Fred Meyer, Fry’s, Gerbes, Harris Teeter, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen’s, Pay Less, QFC, Ralphs, Roundy’s, Scott’s and Smith’s as well as convenience stores like Turkey Hill, Loaf N Jug, Tom Thumb, Kwik Shop, and Quik Stop

I found the easiest way to find the online coupon was to go to Kroger’s coupon site and search for the “Gift Cards” category

Note that fixed value Visa / Mastercard gift cards DO give fuel points (unlike variable load gift cards) AND Kroger is currently giving 4x fuel points on gift cards – so a $100 purchase should earn 400 fuel points, which is enough for 40 cents / gallon off up to 35 gallons.

The complete terms and conditions state:

While supplies last. No rain checks. Limit one coupon per transaction per day. Subject to availability. The Gift Cards cannot be reloaded with additional funds, nor can they be used at an ATM (Automated Teller Machine). For use in the U.S. only. Terms and conditions apply and other fees may apply to Gift Cards. See gift card package for details. The Gift Cards are issued by U.S. Bank National Association pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. or MasterCard® International Incorporated. MasterCard and the MasterCard Brand Mark are registered trademarks of MasterCard International Incorporated. Product and offer may not be available in all states. Offer excludes MasterCard® and/or Visa® Variable Load Gift Cards.

Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

The coupon is good through 11/29 (Sunday), and the terms seem to indicate that the coupon is good once per day, though reports have indicated that it seems to be only good for one use.
