frontier-logoFrontier Airlines is adding 42 new non-stop routes, including 4 from my hometown airport (CVG) and 4 from Cleveland as well.  Most of these routes will start in mid-April, while a few of them start in May and June as well.  The routes are not daily service – they’re either Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday or Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

Frontier spokesman Jim Faulkner stated that “The day of week schedule helps capacity meet initial demand as we enter these new markets.”

I would expect that we will see some pretty good sales out of Frontier – they’ve often had sales as low as $19 each way, even on cross-country flights.  Keep in mind though that Frontier is a low-cost carrier and you’ll be paying extra for things like bags, seat assignments, etc.
