Occasionally I see some interesting travel related products being crowd funded that I think you guys might be interested in.  We’ve talked about Fluent Forever (an app to learn languages), and the Voyage Travel Bag among others. Here’s a few of the travel related crowd funded projects that I’ve seen

Travel related Kickstarters:

Today I wanted to talk a bit about the ProGo 2.0: The Most Functional Travel / Camera Bag Ever.

ProGo 2.0 bag features

The ProGo 2.0 bag aims to work as a camera bag, a daypack, a laptop bag and luggage, all in one

Here are a few pictures of the ProGo 2.0 travel and camera bag

One thing that separates this bag from others is that it also doubles as a camera bag, which lets you pack your camera when you need it

I know sometimes it seems like a lot of these Kickstarter projects are really shoving in random features that are not super useful, just to add to the list of features, but most of these features seem at least fairly reasonable

Here’s a video showing off several of the ProGo 2.0 travel and camera bag features

ProGo 2.0 bag backing levels and cost

The ProGo 2.0 camera and travel bag is not yet fully funded, and will only go forward if it’s fully funded by the end of the project date (May 31st). Here are a few of the levels that you can back the project at

  • CA$229 (about $179) for Super Early Bird of 1 bag
  • CA$249 for a Super Early Bird of a ProGo Plus (a larger size)
  • CA$459 for 2 ProGo 2.0 bags
  • CA$469 for a mix – one ProGo 2.0 and one ProGo 2.0 Plus
  • CA$489 for 2 ProGo Plus

The future retail price of the bag is CA$349 so you’re saving about half of the cost

Again, here is the link to back the ProGo 2.0 camera and travel bag kickstarter – you have until May 22nd to back it

What do you think of this bag?  Planning on backing it?  Leave your experience in the comments!
