As part of a trip to New York City, my son and I spent a bit of time (on arrival) at the LaGuardia Airport Centurion Lounge / LGA. I am a big fan of the American Express Centurion lounges as they are by far the best domestic lounges I’ve been. Access is complimentary for Centurion and Platinum cardholders, and Platinum cardholders can also bring in 2 guests

LGA Centurion Lounge location and hours
The LGA Centurion Lounge is located, strangely enough, at New York City’s LaGuardia airport (LGA). At the time of this writing (early 2018), LaGuardia Airport is in the middle of what seems like a 30 year rebuilding and remodeling project.
We flew into LGA on Frontier Airlines, which is located in Terminal C. The Centurion Lounge LGA location is in Terminal B between Concourses B and C. There was no way to get between terminals airside, so we ended up taking a shuttle bus. There are purple, blue and red shuttles that go between all of the terminals, though with all the construction, it ends up taking a bit of time.
The LGA Centurion Lounge is open from 5:30 a.m to 8pm Sunday through Friday and 5:30a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturdays. It’s important to realize that the American Express Centurion Lounge at LaGuardia is located LAND-side, meaning that you’ll still have to clear security after your lounge visit, so make sure to leave yourself some extra time.
LGA Centurion Lounge secret shortcut
There is one secret shortcut to get to the LGA American Express Centurion Lounge. Once you’re at Terminal B and between Concourses B and C, you can go up the escalator pictured below
That will take you to a place that looks like this
i.e. a place it doesn’t look like you have any business being :-). Fear not, if you turn to the left, you’ll go down a long hallway (that also looks like you’re not supposed to be there), and after a little bit, the Amex Centurion Lounge LGA will be on your left.

The main thing I’m generally looking for in an airport lounge is a place to get a bite to eat, and the Centurion lounges are by far the best domestic lounges I’ve ever been to

The LaGuardia American Express Centurion Lounge has a wide variety of hot food and drinks available
I had the pasta, which was quite tasty
There is also a wide variety of complimentary alcohol
LGA Centurion Lounge seating
When you enter the Centurion Lounge LGA, you are greeted at the front desk and then most of the seating area is off to the right. There are a few different areas for seating, but it is not as spacious as some of the other Centurion lounges that I’ve been to, though bigger than the Centurion Lounge Studio in the Seattle airport
There are a total of 110 seats available
Centurion Lounge LGA review – wifi and amenities
There is complimentary wifi available at the Centurion Lounge New York LaGuardia and I found the speed to be satisfactory. Actually right as we arrived at the lounge, I got an alert that our flight to Greece the next day had already been canceled due to an impending snowstorm

I was able to use the Centurion Lounge LGA wifi to figure out alternate plans. I had booked my trip using Ultimate Rewards through Chase and Chase had already rebooked us on an alternate flight through London.

Impressive. I just want to understand..you didn’t initiate the rebooking? Did they arrange it and then let you know after it was confirmed or how did it work?
Correct – they (I’m not sure if it came from Chase or Swiss or both or neither) initiated it. I got an email the night before with the alternate flight arrangements
