Spring travel buying is in full swing, and both Delta and American are leading the way with sale prices to London for April and May. What’s more exciting: deals are from several cities that usually don’t see deep discounts to England. Most fares include a stopover, but non-stop deals are also available for just a few dollars more in some cases. Some flights are to Heathrow while others are to Gatwick, so plan yourhotel and sightseeing plans accordingly. Sale cities include:

  • Miami from  $401; 1-way nonstop from $411 (American / Iberia)
  • San Francisco from $391 (AA / British Airways)
  • Los Angeles from $431; direct from $458 (AA)
  • Denver from $424; 463 direct (AA)
  • Seattle from $475 (Delta / Virgin Atlantic)
  • Phoenix from $554 (Delta)
  • St. Louis from $675 (AA)

These are international basic economy, which means they include carry-on bags and meals included, but not seat selection. Buy-ups to main cabin economy, which includes seat selection and checked bag, are $180 round trip for both AA and Delta, which may or may not make the deal worth it for you. While L.A. and San Francisco do sometimes have deals to London the other cities are less likely to see a repeat of these prices in the near future, so take advantage if a spring trip to London is in your plans.
