For those of you that (like me) know virtually nothing about baseball. The name Jerry Remy won’t mean a thing. Even for those of you that do enjoy the sport, you may not know who he is. Long story short, he was an excellent second baseman in the 1970s and 1980s. Jerry was originally drafted to the California Angels before being traded to the Boston Red Sox.

For us though, none of that matters. What does matter, is there’s a bar and restaurant in Terminal C bearing his name. As far as I can tell, there’s no real connection between the ball player and the bar.

How to Use Your Priority Pass at Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar and Grille
Jerry Remy’s at BOS is the one of two Priority Pass restaurants at the airport. (Check out our review of Stephanie’s in Terminal B!)
Easy. Just explain to your server that you’ll be using a Priority Pass, and show them your same day boarding pass. In my experience, they will ask for the boarding pass (but they didn’t at Stephanie’s). I imagine this is because Jerry Remy’s is located pre-security, as opposed to most lounges in the Priority Pass Network.
Remember, some of these restaurants have restriction on Priority Pass use. At Jerry Remy’s, for example, you can only use the Priority Pass between 2PM and 8PM daily.
Your server will take your Priority Pass and run the card. For yourself and any guest you check in, you’ll get a $28 credit on the final bill. For example, if you check in yourself and a guest, you’ll get a total of $56 off your tab, good towards food and beverages.
Remember though, Priority Pass won’t handle the tip! And you definitely, absolutely, undoubtedly, should tip!
What’s on the Menu?
You’ll find the same stuff on this menu as you would at any New England sports bar. Steak. Chowder. Burgers. Salads. Just some decent, everyday food. Nothing in particular jumped out at me, and I decided to go with a steak tip salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the salad was piled high with greens and crisp veggies.
Prices seemed a bit high to me, but I’d argue they’re fair for an airport restaurant. Jerry Remy’s at BOS also has a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor if that’s your style. You can easily get a full meal and a drink within your allotted $28 Priority Pass visit, or feed the family by checking in a few guests.
Homerun? Or Foul Ball?
The service at Jerry Remy’s was great, despite being pretty full when I was there. The food was good too, so the only negative thing I can say about this spot is the location. Situated pre-security in Terminal C, it can be tough to get to, especially if you’re connecting. For a restaurant, it makes sense. For a lounge, not so much. Let’s be real though, Boston isn’t exactly a connection airport. Most people are starting or ending in Boston.
In my case, Jerry Remy’s offers a great menu for a bite to eat before you pass through security at Terminal C. For Alaska flights in particular, it’s great! Alaska Airlines has gates C40, C41, and C42, which have their own security lines, separate from the rest of Terminal C.
So next time you’re flying through Terminal C in Boston, stop by Jerry Remy’s for some great American food! Pull up seat at the bar and catch up on your team’s latest win (or loss) before your flight!

Note they only let you use it from 2-6pm. They won’t even let you order at say 1:30pm and pay after 2pm.

Jerry is also one half of the “Don & Jerry” baseball announcing duo who spent several recent years doing on-air TV commenting for the Red Sox.
I also don’t usually pay very close attention to sports, but their on-air antics were so phenomenally fun to watch that I spent a couple of summers watching Red Sox baseball on NESN because while the team was pretty bad, Jerry and Don were a delight to watch together, thru 2015.
