I mean, I knew the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai was going to be over the top, but I think even I was not quite ready for how ridiculous the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai was…

We arrived to the Dubai airport about 6 p.m., because we had already checked out from our (disappointing) hotel and had nowhere else to go with our stuff.  We were ready to see what the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai might be like and just hangout and relax rather than trying to fit in even more Dubai sightseeing.

Arriving at Dubai airport to go to the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai

When we got to the Dubai airport, we almost ran into a problem as the Emirates First Class agents would not check us in because it was more than 4 hours before our flight departed (scheduled at 2:35 a.m.).

Apparently, that’s a Thankfully, we were able to get things all situated by connecting to the free airport wifi, checking in online, and then once we were checked in, the ticket agents were able to print out our boarding passes so that we could clear security and make our way back to the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai

Emirates First Class lounge Dubai Concourse B review

There are actually TWO Emirates First Class lounge Dubai airport – one in the A Concourse and one in the B Concourse.  We went to the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai in the B Concourse first, though we actually ended up trying out both.

The Emirates First Class lounge Dubai sits on top of the entire concourse and is… massive.  After we walked in and presented our boarding passes, we stopped to take a picture here.

There was a sign directing you to different places, and one of them pointed to an “arcade”.  I assumed that this meant something else in British (or Dubai-ish) English, but… no.  It was an actual arcade and children’s area 🙂

There’s a TON of seating in the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai, and especially so because we were there so early.

I think what cracked me up was the fact that there is a whole sit down restaurant INSIDE the lounge

There is also a variety of buffet and other foods, all of which are of course significantly better than your other airport lounges (especially if you’re thinking of domestic US lounges).  At one point, Carolyn was trying to get some hot chocolate out of one of the machines and was not sure how it worked exactly.  She asked a lounge worker and he was appalled that she would be trying to do this herself and made her go sit down and told her that he would bring it to her.

There is also a complimentary 15 minute massage offered

I went for the Reflex Therapy foot and leg massage.

Emirates First Class lounge Dubai Concourse A review

After a little bit of time in the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai in Concourse B, we decided to walk over to Concourse A and check that lounge out.

The Emirates First Class lounge Dubai Concourse A also runs the whole length of the concourse, and you can actually see down into the “regular” airport.  It’s so big, it has its own map!  The Emirates First Class lounge Dubai Concourse A is divided into 2 halves, and each half is pretty much a mirror image of each other.

The interesting thing about the Emirates First Class lounge Dubai Concourse A is that you can actually board the plane RIGHT from the lounge, without having to go back down into the terminal

We spent a little bit in this lounge, and had some desserts, before we walked back over to Concourse B (where our flight to New York was departing) and spent the rest of the time waiting there.  As far as lounges go, I think it was a “tiny” step up from the worst lounge I’ve ever been in.

We had been “stuck” in Emirates First Class on a 777 on our flight in from Singapore, but this time we were heading out on the A380
