I was excited to hear the announcement in June 2024 that several Escape Lounges had joined the Priority Pass network, including the Escape Lounge CVG in my home airport. The Escape Lounge CVG was previously a much smaller lounge near Gate B20, but in April 2026, a new Escape Lounge CVG opened which is much bigger and nicer, near Gate B12.

The Escape Lounge CVG is a Priority Pass lounge, so if you have a Priority Pass membership (likely from a credit card), you’ll have complimentary access to Escape Lounge CVG. If you don’t have Priority Pass, you can buy a day pass to the Escape Lounge CVG for as low as $50 per person, which I would not recommend
Priority Pass CVG / Cincinnati airport lounge location
The Escape Lounge CVG is most convenient if you are flying Delta or American Airlines in CVG Concourse B. It’s located outside Gate B12 in Concourse B. Right after you come up the escalator from the terminal train, you’ll turn to your left. The Escape lounge is on the upper level above the 5/3 bank.

While it’s possible to go between Concourse A and Concourse B airside, if you are flying out of Concourse A, you could consider visiting The Club CVG, which is a Priority Pass lounge in Concourse A. However, the new Escape Lounge CVG that opened in 2026 is significantly better than The Club, so if you have time, it may be worth visiting the Escape Lounge even if you have to later make your way back to Concourse A.

You’ll go up one level by either an elevator or stairs.

And there will be a check-in area at the top of the stairs or elevator.

The Escape Lounge CVG airport lounge is open from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time. If you have a flight outside those hours, you unfortunately will not be able to use The Cincinnati Escape Lounge Priority Pass lounge.
Escape Lounge CVG Priority Pass Cincinnati airport lounge seating
In the new Escape Lounge (opened in 2026), there are actually now plentiful seating options available at the Escape Lounge CVG.

I never really had a problem finding seats at the old Escape Lounge, and with this one being nearly 5 times bigger, as you can imagine, there were plenty of seats available.
Cincinnati Concourse B airport lounge review: food
This Cincinnati Airport (CVG) Priority Pass lounge has much better food than the old Escape Lounge or The Club.

My wife also mentioned that the vegetarian options were among the best that she’s ever had in an airport lounge.
There are various drinks, though the soda machine was broken the last time I was there. There were cans of coke behind the bar.

There was a separate food area with coffee and a few sweet options like cookies, donuts and muffins.

There is also a bar available

There is both complimentary alcohol and alcohol available for purchase.

Escape Lounge CVG airport lounge wifi
The Priority Pass CVG wifi in the Escape Lounge CVG Lounge was moderate. I didn’t have any trouble doing light browsing.

Priority Pass CVG / Cincinnati Concourse B Airport lounge amenities
The Cincinnati Airport Escape Lounge CVG does not have much in the way of amenities. It’s pretty much just the complimentary wifi and seating. While the old Escape lounge did not have restrooms in the lounge, the new lounge does have men’s and women’s restrooms, though no shower facilities.

I also appreciated that unlike the old Escape lounge, there are windows with airport tarmac views.

In any case, I rate the Escape Lounge CVG lounge decent and I would definitely recommend it if you are departing Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) with a Priority Pass card out of Concourse B. Previously, if you were flying out of Concourse A, I would recommend just visiting The Club CVG, but the new Escape Lounge CVG is a significant upgrade and might be worth concourse hopping if you have plenty of time.

I recently stopped in the Escape Lounge CVG as I was flying in business class on British Airways, which entitles you to visit for free, at least until you get kicked out at 8 PM while waiting for a 9:50 PM departure to London.
I was mostly disappointed with the lounge. The food selection at that hour was pretty meager and I had some doubts about the freshness of things like the Asian slaw. The plates in the buffet appeared to be dirty. They were understaffed with the individual working the door also running the bar.
But the drinks were still readily available and the seating in the space is generally well appointed. Bottom line: use it if you have access but don’t go out of your way for it.
Yup – that is my bottom line analysis as well.
I think I’ve had better experiences in this lounge than you have. (And sorry that I seem to have drunk all the Diet Coke! They’ve had it in the mini-fridge or by request when I visited.) The food has been good and I think there are more hot/cooked options than what’s available at the Club lounge in Concourse A. I like the variety.
Definitely it’s understaffed–usually it seems there is one cook who is supplying the food and one person who is trying to manage the front desk and also tend bar. That’s a lot for those two people to handle during busy times, though I’ve always had great service.
And definitely, you’re right that the seating is limited. It’s a super-small lounge. As of now, my AmEx Platinum lets me bring in a guest for free, since it’s part of the Escape network rather than the Centurion network. I predict the day is coming when that guest access will cease to be free, just to reduce the overcrowding. I live in dread of that day! 🙁
A new, expanded Escape Lounge is currently being built. It should be done this year.
Nice – somehow I had missed that news. Looks like it is going near B12 and according to the news report I saw “currently slated to open in late 2025” (oops 😀 )
I was here a couple weeks ago right after opening and fully agree – great lounge. I like that the comp alcohol is a tier above The Club’s offerings (e.g. Maker’s Mark instead of Jim Beam) and that some of the free alcohol is an upcharge at the SkyClub (e.g. Bombay Sapphire, Walker Black, Aperol).
Speaking of upcharges, those $4-6 isn’t bad at all and again comparing to SkyClub, it’s about 50% less than what they charge.
Visited the new Escape Lounge CVG last week and was genuinely impressed. The food quality is a real step up from the old location — especially the hot options. Having actual restrooms inside the lounge and tarmac views makes a big difference. If you’re connecting through Concourse B with a Priority Pass card, this is absolutely worth the stop.
I think it might be worth going to even if you’re in Concourse A, if you have enough time
