Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain review – room
We booked a 2 queen room. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough.

Here is the other side of the room, with a desk and TV

The bathroom was small but functional. The shower had good temperature and pressure.

Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain wifi and amenities
Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms. The Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain wifi speed was decent and I had no issues using it, though I forgot to get a picture of the speed.
There is an outdoor pool, though when I was here in February, it was closed for the season.

There is a small fitness center.

Laundry facilities are available for a cost

Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain hotel review – parking
The Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain does have complimentary parking, which was plentiful.
Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain food
Breakfast is complimentary at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain – it’s served in a breakfast area right off the lobby.

There were several hot dishes, which I assume are rotated each day

Unlike some of the basic hotels I’ve been at recently, there were several hot items and not just 1 or 2 – they had eggs, bacon, sausage AND biscuits.

And of course Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls!

There were also Otis Spunkmeyer cookies in the lobby when we got there at night. I had one which hit the spot after a long day traveling.

There is a market near the front desk with overpriced food and other sundries

If you are looking for a cheap Atlanta or Stone Mountain hotel, I thought that the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta-Stone Mountain had several things going for it. It was very easy to get to from the highway, and the price was decent.
