Occasionally I see some interesting travel related products being crowd funded that I think you guys might be interested in.  We’ve talked about the Tropic travel shoe, the Cleansebot bacteria killing robot, and the Hypercube charger, among others. Here’s a few of the travel related crowd funded projects that I’ve seen

Today I wanted to talk a bit about the Compression Packing Cubes kickstarter.

Here are a few pictures of the Compression Packing Cubes. There are 2 different sizes of the packing cubes – one is larger (25cm x 36cm) and one is smaller (18cm x 25cm).

The Compression Packing Cubes is on Kickstarter and has currently raised over AUS$18,000 (about USD$13,000) from an AUS$8,200 goal. Here are a few of the levels that you can back the project at

  • AUS$69 (about USD$49) for one large and one small compression packing bags
  • AUS$76 (about USD$55) for one large and two small compression packing bags
  • AUS$85 (about USD$62) for two large and two small compression packing bags
  • AUS$124 (about USD$89) for three large and three small compression packing bags
  • AUS$154 (about USD$109) for four large and four small compression packing bags
  • AUS$209 (about USD$149) for six large and six small compression packing bags

Again, here is the link to back the Compression Packing Cubes kickstarter – you have only until Wednesday February 6th at 3:07 p.m. EST to back the project, and the packing cubes are currently scheduled to ship in May 2019
