Is It Worth It?

I’m not too wowed by these packages. Depending on when you go, hotels at Las Vegas can be extremely cheap, with rooms at the Luxor running for as low $31/night (plus ridiculous resort fees). Still, there is a convenience factor here, and if you’re looking to redeem during peak season (July 4 is available, though New Year’s is blocked out), you can find some decent value.

Alternatively, you can do like I did and status match yourself to Ceasar’s Rewards Diamond status via Wyndham (who accepts status matches from such programs as IHG and Hilton). Doing so will get you a number of perks, including waived resort fees, free show tickets, and a $100 annual dinner credit.

To put it into perspective, I’m spending $215, all in, for two nights at Ceasar’s Palace as a Diamond member with free show tickets and $100 in dinner credits.

So if you aren’t able to snag one of the packages above, don’t fret. There’s always a better way.
