Just came across this roundtrip deal as shared by The Flight Deal. It’s flying from Los Angeles to the St. Thomas Virgin Islands for $260 roundtrip including taxes and fees. These flights have limited availability after Labor Day.

What dates are available for $260

I checked Google Flights and found the following dates.

Here’s an entry written by PWaC’s Ian Snyder – 6 Reason Google Flights is the best flight search engine.

  • Sept 11 – Sept 17 or 18
  • Sept 18 – Sept 25 or 26
  • Sept 25 – Oct 1 or 2
  • Oct 1 – 9
  • Oct 27 – May 5th

Once you’ve chosen the flights that work for you, Google flights should then take you to Delta and you can finish your booking from there.

Sample flights: Sept 18-26

Use Ultimate Rewards for 17,317 points

If you want to use your Ultimate Rewards using your Chase Sapphire Reserve, instead of transferring 25,000 to Korean or 30,000 to  Air France Flying Blue, for the select dates,  a round trip ticket will cost you 17,317 Ultimate Rewards.

I’ve seen ticket prices from LA to St. Thomas go as high at $600 during the very busy summer timeframe. Ticket prices tend to go down once school starts in the Fall.

Do you tend to travel during the off-season? Not sure how long this will last, so grab the flights that work for you. Good luck.
