As seen in TravelPirates, there’s a low fare available between NYC and San Francisco, The fares I’ve seen were as low as $154 RT or $57 one way. However, there’s a catch, so read the fine print and make sure it works for you.

What’s the deal

  • One way or roundtrip coach fares from San Francisco to New York (EWR)
  • From as low as $57 one way or $154 RT
  • Flight includes a brief layover
  • Travel Dates: very few dates in September
  • Non-refundable Basic Economy Fare
  • This will not last.

What is Basic Economy

Here are the details as listed by American Airlines. So if you’re a no-frills kind of a person, and just need to get from Point A to Point B, this might work for you.

Otherwise, if you need to be able to bring something on-board, here’s another option for you. The price is still quite reasonable.

Remember, read the fine print, read the details of the tickets you are purchasing. Basic Economy is not for everybody. But iit’s an option for those who are on a budget and do not mind flying Basic Econony.

Not sure how long this will last, so grab the flights that work for you. As mentioned, dates and availabilities change quickly, be flexible with your dates. Good luck.
