Quick fare deal from Washington DC to Santiago Chile as low as $171. I personally was able to find several dates on Google Flights throughout 2017 for $282 even for a long weekend trip – here is one example
That also gets you a 22 hour layover in Panama City which could be nice for a little sightseeing there as part of your trip. Other people on the Travel Hacking 101 Facebook group were seeing fares as low as $171 r/t. I couldn’t get that to price out through Google Flights, but I did see it through Momondo (affiliate link) – here’s the same dates / route as above
