TAP Portugal often has some pretty good fares to Europe but right now there are some fares that are pretty good even for their standards!
Fares are going on right now as low as $130 one way for flights from New York to Barcelona. Even better, these fares include both a full-size carryon (unlike ultra low cost carriers like WOW Airlines) AND you can get a stopover in either Lisbon or Oporto!
The best fares are in February, but there are pretty good fares in other months as well
You can also include a stopover in Lisbon (and possibly Oporto, depending on the routing). Here’s an example with a stopover in Lisbon
There are returns back to New York City available as low as $190 as well, making a possible roundtrip to Europe for $320!
I also see other European destinations
What to do in Barcelona
Here are a few of the top things to do in Barcelona, according to TripAdvisor
- Basilica of the Sagrada Familia (pictured above)
- Palau de la Musica Orfeo Catala
- Gothic Quarter
- Casa Batllo
- Magic Fountain
Good luck and happy travels!
