In 2025, as part of a staycation, I stayed one night at the Hampton Inn Provo. This Hampton Inn Provo review will give an idea of the different amenities and features of the hotel and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a Provo or Utah County hotel.

Hampton Inn Provo location
The Hampton Inn Provo is located at 1511 South 40 East, Provo, Utah, 84606. It’s located right off of I-15 and US-189, in South Provo. It’s about a 10 minute drive from BYU or UVU, and about 8 minutes from the Provo airport (PVU).

Hampton Inn Provo cost
We were looking for a cheap Provo hotel, but didn’t want to stay in the absolute cheapest hotel out there. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in this area while my son is at school, so decided to book this hotel this time with 153,000 points for 5 nights. You get the 5th night free with Hilton stays, which helped keep the cost down. The cash cost for our nights was $162 (after taxes). So 153,000 points saved us $810, or 0.53 cents per point, which is about average for Hilton points.

Hampton Inn Provo review – room
We booked a “2 queens” room. The beds and pillows were comfortable enough.

Here is the other side of the room, with a desk and TV

The bathroom was small but functional. The shower had good temperature and pressure. One weird thing was that the tub / shower creaked a ton. If you moved around at all, you made a LOT of noise.

Hampton Inn Provo Utah wifi and amenities
Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms. The Hampton Inn Provo wifi speed was decent, but it occasionally would cut out. It was still usable but not great.

There is a computer and printer out in the lobby (no separate business center)

There is an indoor pool as well.

There is a small fitness center including a Peloton bike.

Laundry facilities are available for a cost

Hampton Inn Provo hotel review – parking
The Hampton Inn Provo does have complimentary parking, which was plentiful.
Hampton Inn Provo food
Breakfast is complimentary at the Hampton Inn Provo – it’s served in a breakfast area right off the lobby.

There were several hot dishes, which are rotated each day

Yogurt, cereal and breads are also available.

There is a market near the front desk with overpriced food and other sundries

Here are the market prices.

The Bottom Line – Hampton Inn Provo review
If you are looking for a cheap BYU, Provo or Utah County hotel, I thought that the Hampton Inn Provo had several things going for it. It was very easy to get to from the highway (or airport), and the price was decent. I think the Hampton Inn Provo could be a great option if you’re looking for a Provo hotel.
