People didn’t travel as much as usual last year, and this year looks to be similar so far. You know it. We know it. The airlines know it.
And most of the airlines are trying to get you to come back! JetBlue is offering a fast track to Mosaic status for 2021 for JetBlue Plus cardholders. For 2021, spend $30,000 on the card and earn 4,000 Mosaic Qualifying points to earn Mosaic status.
Cardholders always have the opportunity to earn Mosaic status with $50,000 in spend on the card in a calendar year. This represents a decrease of $20,000 in spend. You can earn those 4,000 Mosaic Qualifying points with good old-fashioned flying this year.
The fine print on my email does indicate the offer was intended specifically for me and my card account, so check your emails. Check out the consolidated JetBlue page for changes to their TrueBlue program this year. It looks like this offer is good for any cardholders with the JetBlue Plus card or JetBlue Business card. (Both of which normally allow cardholders to spend $50,000 and earn Mosaic status.)
JetBlue Mosaic status comes with plenty of the standard airline elite status benefits:
- Free checked bags
- Free carry-on bags
- Free alc0holic beverages
- Early boarding
Through May 1, you can also take advantage of JetBlue’s Mosaic Companion Pass offer. Your companion flies free (except for taxes and fees) on all of your flights. Take that, Southwest!
Many of our favorite airlines have been making it easier to acquire status lately. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to try and earn status purely through these promotions, it can definitely help those on the edge. Will this promotion help you spend your way to Mosaic status in 2021?
