Today I wanted to talk a bit about the ReveaLED flashlight, which bills itself as the world’s first multiwavelength UV light especially designed for travelers & photographers. It is currently on Kickstarter through this Sunday, April 7th, so you only have a few days left to back it
All Kickstarter / Indiegogo links in this post may pay me a commission if you boost the project through my link.
ReveaLED flashlight features
The idea for the ReveaLED flashlight came from a study showing that hotel bedspreads might only be changed 4 times a year and 3 out of 9 hotels they studied didn’t even change the SHEETS in between guests (!).
Here are a few pictures of the ReveaLED flashlight
ReveaLED flashlight video
Here’s a video showing off some of the different options and features of the ReveaLED flashlight
Personally I’m not sure if KNOWING what all is on the sheets would make me feel better or whether I prefer to just revel in my own ignorance…. 🙂
ReveaLED flashlight backing levels and cost
The Aroo Travel Compression system is on Kickstarter and has currently raised over USD$5,800 from a goal of only about USD$300. Here are a few of the levels that you can back the project at
- $27 for one ReveaLED flashlight ($38 once the early bird backings run out)
- $53 for three flshlights
- $104 for six flashlights
Again, here is the link to back the ReveaLED multiwavelength flashlight – you have only until Sunday April 7th to back it and it is currently scheduled to ship in May 2019
What do you think of this flashlight? Planning on backing this? Leave your experience in the comments!
