The Priority Pass Lounge Network continues to expand, which is great news for us travelers. Tons of credit cards partner with Priority Pass now, and folks continue to get savvier when traveling. This means more people in lounges, so I’m always happy to see new locations.

The Club at SEA

The Club MSY has just opened in New Orleans, right across from the entrance to Concourse A. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International has had a Delta SkyClub for some time, and United will be opening a lounge later in the year. New Orleans is the 24th location for The Club.

The Club’s latest installment is scheduled to be open from 4:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. 7 days a week. You’ll have access three hours prior to your scheduled flight departure.  Children under 2 years will be admitted free, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.  Computers and a printer will be available for lounge-hoppers to finish that last-minute report. Typical Club locations have food and drinks for free, including some packaged items you can take on the plane with you if needed. The Club MSY will also have showers available to passengers within the 4,700 square foot space.

I’ve been to Club lounges in Orlando and Atlanta. Both provided decent seating options and some snacks. We’re not talking Centurion Lounge menu, but there’s nothing wrong with free food at the airport! Perfect when I’m looking for some decent WiFi and a beer. I use my Priority Pass to get into The Club locations, but you can also buy a day pass for around $40 per person.

Flying through New Orleans any time soon? Let us know what you think of the new Club!  I flew to New Orleans once years ago, but haven’t made it back yet.
