Recently I posted that I have a referral link that still offers the Southwest Premier Personal card with the 50,000 mile bonus (after spending $2000 in the first 3 months).
It does also give me 5,000 miles if you sign up, but the support is always appreciated!
One more place to get the 50,000 offer
If you don’t want to leave me a tip in my coin jar, that’s okay! I have one other place that you can still get the 50,000 offer! It may be a little harder to get, but after my recent trip to ATL this past weekend, I can confirm that the 50K offer does still exist in the airport!
Now, like I said, it’s a little harder to sign up for those, since all of the signs that I saw were PAST security, so you’d need to already be heading to the airport. (I do not recommend buying a ticket just to get this 50K offer 😀 ).
Still, if you’re in the airport and interested, it is an option. There are kiosks near the Southwest gates – there was one at CMH and also at ATL.

What we need is a 50K offer good through October 5 or so, so we can get points to post in January for a 2015-2016 companion pass.
Heh. I wonder if Southwest’s expiration date of 9/30 is intentional in that regard. What you are suggesting is what I did for 2013, but I was denied for the business card, so it didn’t work out. It was also a little stressful trying to cram in all $2000 of spending in the first few days of January (I’m not a huge MSer). I ended up getting the Companion Pass about May of this year
