Ever wanted to meet a bunch of other “travel hacking” hobbyists? Interested in getting some hands-on experience with travel experts? Then Frequent Traveler University (FTU) may be for you.

FTU hosts a few events every year designed to provide frequent travelers with tips and tricks to travel more cheaply and creatively. The events always include a range of expert speakers who give great presentations, plus a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow hobbyists, consultants, and travel business owners.

As of today, registration is now open for the FTU Advanced event in Minneapolis, Minnesota over June 9-11. The event will include in-depth travel-related sessions, and some focused on the *very* popular topic of manufactured spending. There will also be special “meet-the-experts” tables.

Confirmed speakers at FTU Advanced Minneapolis:

  • Greg Davis-Kean (Frequent Miler)
  • Matthew Klint (Live and Let’s Fly)
  • Stefan Krasowski (Rapid Travel Chai)
  • Tiffany Funk (One Mile At A Time)

And more to come!

Event details

The venue for this great event is the Marriott Minneapolis Airport. The hotel is offering a $105 per night group rate to attendees of FTU.

There are two ticket options: an all-access pass for $249 or a Saturday-only ticket for $149. Sessions start at 9 a.m. on June 10 and conclude at 5 p.m. on June 11. Since the event is billed as June 9-11, I am assuming there is a Friday evening mixer for the full weekend attendees. I tried to pull up the schedule to get specifics, but it would not display. Hopefully it will be available soon!

Sign up soon if you want to attend. FTU says their seats sell out fast!

So what do you think? Is FTU Minneapolis something you’ll be attending?
