Amazon Prime Day started back in 2015 as a way to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary and has gotten bigger every year. In 2018, traffic to Amazon’s site was so intense that there were intermittent glitches (anyone remember the dogs error page?). Nevertheless, Prime Day 2018 still had a record high amount of sales – by some reports over USD$1 billion! We wrote a Complete Guide to Amazon Prime Day 2019 post a few weeks ago and wanted to share the news that Amazon has announced some of the Prime Day sales. All Amazon links in this post and throughout the site may pay me a commission if you purchase through them. Thank you for the support – it’s how we keep the site going.

Remember, Amazon Prime Day 2019 starts THIS Monday (July 15th) at 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET and is planned to run for 48 hours.
