How do I earn my 10% rebate?
- You must be a Hyatt credit cardholder.
- Register for the promotion from June 14th through July 15th here.
- Redeem your points between July 1st and September 2nd (also applies to existing reservations booked within this window).
- The rebate points should hit your account in 6-8 weeks!
Note that your entire stay must fall within the 7/1-9/2 timeframe to be eligible for the points rebate. The points received back will count as Bonus Points, not Base Points. In other words, this promotion is great for your bank of points, but the points won’t help you earn any extra status with Hyatt. Now, the nights should still count, so hopefully you’re able to book a lot!
If you stocked up on Hyatt points in the recent Daily Getaways, this promotion is a great opportunity to plan some summer travel and get more bang for your buck (…or point, as the case may be). Hyatt points continue to be some of the most valuable out there, especially when used on their lower tier properties.

Hey Boraxo! This was in the text of the email we received from Hyatt
“Cardmembers’ points redeemed between July 1 and September 2, 2019 will be eligible for this promotion. If a member redeems points for a stay, the entire stay must be completed by September 2, 2019 in order to receive 10% of the redeemed points back as Bonus Points. This also applies to existing reservations already booked during this timeframe, as long as cardmembers register for the promotion by July 15, 2019. The Bonus Points will be automatically deposited into cardmembers’ World of Hyatt accounts 6-8 weeks after the point redemption has been completed.”
