Delta has monthly Skymile flash sales that usually last only two days. Last month it was to Los Angeles, but for this month, you can fly farther, all the way to Europe! Today Delta announced its March Skymiles flash sale, but you must act fast!
The sale
- Round-trip booking required.
- Must book on Delta.com directly.
- Main cabin starting at 50,000 miles round-trip, plus taxes and fees.
- Delta one starting at 110,000 miles round-trip, plus taxes and fees.
- Sale valid for two days, until 11:59pm EST on March 15, 2017.
- Travel may begin on or after August 1, 2017 and all travel must be completed by October 31, 2017.

I searched for award seats out of San Francisco. It seems August dates are pretty much not available at the 50,000 level in coach. But in September and October they are wide open, since kids are back in school and less families are able to travel. Not surprise I guess.
Good luck finding Delta One awards at 110,000 round trip. I was able to find just one seat between Atlanta and Madrid during the entire month of September!
