Amazon announced this week the dates of their annual Amazon Prime Day. Amazon Prime Day 2022 will be Tuesday July 12th through Wednesday July 13th. There are a few early access deals that seem to already be available, and I imagine that more will show up over the course of the next 4 weeks. But of course most deals will show up on Prime Day itself, and the deals tend to go fast. If you typically get my posts from our daily emails, you might want to consider signing up for instant post alerts instead. Please note that all links on this (and any post) include my Amazon affiliate link. As an Amazon associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

Early Prime Day deals
The Amazon Prime Day page is already up and there are a few deals listed there as well. I would imagine that these deals will last for quite awhile and there may even be better discounts as we get closer to the actual Prime Day. Still, if you’re in the market for any of these things, it might make sense.

How to Save Money at Amazon
Amazon often has promotions where you can get a percentage or dollar value off a purchase by using at least 1 credit card point (like Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, etc). These deals are typically targeted, but it’s a good idea to regularly check if you’re eligible, because these deals come around quite a bit. Note that it is generally a bad value to use your points to shop at Amazon, but it’s definitely worth using 1 point to save $20 – $50.
- Save at Amazon using 1 Amex Membership Rewards point
- Save at Amazon using 1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point
- Save at Amazon using 1 Citi ThankYou point
- Save at Amazon using 1 Discover point
Good luck, happy shopping and we’ll see you back here next month.

I don’t understand the instant alert. I don’t see a red bell at the bottom of any of the posts. How do you sign up? Is it an email alert?
It should be on the bottom left of the page. Do you have an ad-blocker turned on by chance?
Found it. I was using my Ipad and phone yesterday. Apparently it doesn’t appear on those devices? I am a PC now and found it easily. Thanks
Glad you were able to find it. I’m not sure exactly how it might work on a tablet or phone but as you mention, a desktop or laptop should have it show up
