A few months ago, many of you snagged a AA executive platinum challenge to get top tier status on American Airlines for 25K miles.  I believe that was SUPPOSED to be targeted, but pretty much anyone could sign up (and a LOT of people did!)
Now American is back, but this time they seemed to have figured out the IT knowledge necessary to ACTUALLY target something :-). Â I first saw notice of this on the Points With a Crew miles and points Slack channel as well as on the Travel Hacking 101 Facebook group, but there is a new AA Executive Platinum fast track offer
Unfortunately, you have to log in before you enter the code, and it looks like if you did not get the email, you can’t enter. Â I tried to enter in the code on AA’s fast track page and was told I was not eligible for this promotion.
According to The Points Guy, there is also a code HVC2B which gives free American Airlines Platinum status.  That also appears to be targeted and I was not eligible.  And yes, I did try HVC2* with the other 24 letters in the alphabet on the AA promo page, and none of those appeared to be valid codes #travelhacking 🙂
Good luck out there and happy travels! Â Were you targeted for either of these AA status promotions?
