Many credit card issuers offer refer a friend bonuses for anyone that has the card to refer friends to sign up for the card.  American Express and Chase are the banks that offer the most refer a friend bonuses, and typically these American Express and Chase refer a friend bonuses come and go periodically.  It looks like the Chase United refer a friend program will be starting back up again in March 2017

Chase United refer a friend starting up

I got a letter in the mail from Chase / United today, mentioning that the Chase United refer a friend bonus is starting up soon.

Referrers will get 10,000 bonus United miles and the people signing up for new Chase United cards via the Chase refer a friend offer will get a 50,000 mile bonus after spending $3000 in the first 3 months.  Note that bonus United miles from the Chase United refer a friend offer are capped at 50,000 miles per year (so 5 referrals)

Chase United refer a friend timing

It looks like this current iteration of the Chase United card refer a friend will start up on March 7th for a little over a month.  You can refer friends and get your own Chase United refer a friend links at http://www.chase.com/ReferUnited.

Note that the URL currently goes to a not found page – so I assume that it will be up and running in the beginning of March.
