Delta has just released its newest flash sale, with flights departing from Atlanta to a variety of destinations in South America. Prices start at 38,000 SkyMiles for economy and 48,000 SkyMiles for Comfort+.  Let’s take a look at the details:

The Details

  • Book before April 11th, 2019 to get this deal.
  • Valid for travel between July 4th- October 31st, 2019.
  • Must include a Saturday stay.
  • All flights route through Atlanta; you can either book a positioning flight via Delta or get there on your own.
  • There are a number of blockout dates:

Example Routes

The sale applies to a number of different cities in South America, though the best value is to Bogota, which rings in at a mere 38,000 SkyMiles round trip:

A quick look at flights for a random day in July shows flights pricing out at $682 on JetBlue for a one-stop, or $704 for the nonstop Delta flight.

Summary

This flash sale can constitute a pretty good deal if you’re available during the travel dates, and a round-trip ticket in Comfort+ for only 48,000 SkyMiles is nothing to sneeze at. If this is something you’d like to jump on, move fast before the sale expires on April 11th.
