Delta removed their award chart years ago, so there’s no consistent pricing of SkyMiles awards. The airline does regularly release SkyMiles Deals from select cities, however, and sometimes those individual deals are a good use of miles. Travel windows are limited by route, though they sometimes extend beyond those listed on the deals page; if travel starts within or near the listed window these prices are generally available. Some nice options this time include:
- Portland to Los Cabos, Mexico for 18K SkyMiles + $97 (cash price $400 – $600)
- Boston to Belize City for 26K + $100 (cash price $500+)
- Detroit to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic for 26K + $120 (cash price $600 – $800)
These are main cabin fares, meaning seat selection and carry-on bags are included, plus free satellite TV on select planes. These deals change weekly, and not every deal is a particularly great redemption, so check the deals page often and compare options for buying your tickets outright.
