Do any online shopping? Well, you’re reading a blog online, so I might as well ask if you’re breathing. I imagine the answer to both will be a loud “YES“. Right now, you can earn a bit more through the Alaska MileagePlan Shopping Portal.
Through June 26th, when you spend at least $200 at any store through the Alaska shopping portal, you’re eligible to earn 500 bonus miles. These are in addition to the miles earned through the normal purchase – so if you make a $100 purchase on StubHub (currently earning 2x miles) you’ll net a total of 700 MileagePlan Miles with Alaska Airlines! Now that Bank of America has tightened up their approval rates for the Alaska cards, I appreciate any extra miles I can get. If you’re not going to buy your concert tickets with Stubhub, consider opting for the new Delta/Ticketmaster partnership!
Here are the full terms and conditions of the offer. Be careful, as not everything you can purchase through the portal will trigger the bonus miles.
In the past, the other airline shopping portals follow suit. Oh how we love competition… Here’s hoping Southwest, United, Delta, and American offer summer promotions soon as well!
