I got a note from Alaska Airlines that they are giving out 2 for 1 flight vouchers to the first 40,000 fans at the San Francisco Giants vs Miami Marlins game on Saturday September 14th. This is to celebrate “Alaska Day” in San Francisco.
These 2 for 1 vouchers are similar to the ones that often come with the Bank of America Alaska card. Buy one coach class ticket at the regular price and get a second ticket for just the taxes. Discount code is valid for 50% off coach base fare levels published at alaskaair.com. Valid for itineraries with exactly two people, traveling together and booked and ticketed at the same time in the same reservation and at the same fare.

- Buy one coach class ticket at the regular price and get a second ticket for just the taxes.
- Discount code is valid for 50% off coach base fare levels published at alaskaair.com.
- Valid for itineraries with exactly two people, traveling together and booked and ticketed at the same time in the same reservation and at the same fare
- valid for one-way or round-trip travel. If the itinerary is canceled or changed, any refund or credit issued will be for the discounted price for each ticket.
- Discount code is valid from Fresno (FAT), Monterey (MRY) Oakland (OAK), Sacramento (SMF), San Francisco (SFO), San Jose (SJC), or Santa Rosa (STS) to any Alaska Airlines city (excluding Prudhoe Bay).
- Discount does not apply to government imposed taxes and airport fees. Cannot be combined with other promotions.
- Travel is valid from October 29, 2019 – February 13, 2020.
- Travel to Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Sundays through Wednesdays.
- Travel from Hawaii, Mexico, or Costa Rica is valid Tuesdays through Fridays.
- All other travel is valid Monday through Thursday and Saturdays.
- Blackout dates of November 21-30, December 1-3, 12-31, 2019, and January 1-7, 2020, apply.
- Valid for new ticket purchases only. Discount code must be applied towards purchase of ticket by 11:59pm (PT) on September 17, 2019.
You can find the full terms and conditions at the promotion page. While it probably doesn’t make sense to make a huge trip to San Francisco to get these vouchers, if you’re in the area or can get there easily, AND you have a use for these 2 for 1 vouchers, it could be a good deal.
