Norwegian has been on a roll with US-based growth, opening a slew of new routes from secondary (and tertiary) airports in the New York/New England Area. Two weeks ago, we saw the bulk of this addition, with 10 routes opening this summer. Now, it looks like Norwegian is adding Norway to their roster of growing destinations!

Route News

Per Norwegian’s website:

Norwegian’s new Scandinavian routes will operate seasonally during the summer and are now available for purchase at norwegian.com/us with fares starting as low as $89 one-way including taxes. Flights will operate twice weekly from Providence on Tuesdays and Saturdays beginning on July 1, 2017, and twice weekly from New York on Sundays and Thursdays beginning on July 2, 2017. The lowest available fares to any of Norwegian’s destinations can be found by reviewing the low fare calendar.

You can check out the deal page here.

Other Information

These two routes clock in at around 3,400 miles, which will be possible thanks to Norwegian’s new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. These planes will seat 186 in an all-economy layout. You’ll also need to pay for bag fees, seat assignments, and snacks on board, much like Spirit or Frontier.

Conclusion

It’s great to see Norwegian already adding more routes from their new US bases. I wonder where they’ll fly to next?!
