In 2025, I attended a conference in the Easton area of Columbus, Ohio. I have stayed at a few different hotels in this area as I have attended this conference (which is located in the Easton Towne Centre) several times. This time I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton. This Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton review will give an idea of the different amenities and features of the hotel and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a suburban Columbus Ohio hotel.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton location

The Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton is located at 4150 Stelzer Road, Columbus, Ohio, 43230. This is just off of I-270 / I-670 and quite near the Easton Towne Centre. It’s right off the highway about 2 minutes. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the Columbus Airport.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton cost

A basic room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton was going for 40,000 Hilton points per night. The cash price was $163.79 after tax. That gives a value of 0.4 cpp. And plus, because I was staying for work and getting reimbursed, it made even more sense for me to book the cash price, which is what I did.

You can check prices for your nights at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton at Hotels.com. You can also read Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton reviews at TripAdvisor.

I wish *I* had read those reviews before booking this hotel as I probably would have gone elsewhere.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton review – room

I had a 1 King bed room on the 4th floor.

Here is the other side of the room, with a desk, chair and a TV.

One nice feature of these rooms is that the window was taller than it was wide, which meant that there was no problem of light flowing through a gap in the curtains.

So, the major problem as you might have seen from some of the pictures above (if you were looking closely) was that the room was not clean when I arrived. In addition to the towels in the bathroom, there was trash still in the room from the previous occupants. Here’s a closeup of what was left behind.

I ended up going down to the front desk and getting another room.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton wifi and amenities

Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms for Hilton members. The Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton wifi speed was decent and I had no issues using it.

There isn’t a separate business center, however there is a small computer and printer area next to the front desk that is available for guests, if you need to print a boarding pass, directions or anything

There is a fitness center with a decent amount of equipment.

Like some similar hotels, they had a sign advertising if you have forgotten toiletries or other items.

Note carefully that unlike some other hotels who provide these items complimentary, they say that you can “purchase them at the front desk”. I actually asked about some antacids, and the front desk attendant vaguely waved over to the market area, but there was not any there.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton hotel review – parking

The Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton parking is complimentary and spacious. However, reading Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton reviews at TripAdvisor, this hotel apparently has had several problems with thieves breaking into cars that are parked in the parking lot. While in some ways that is not the hotel’s fault, the reviews seem to indicate that they aren’t really that interested in keeping the parking lot safe. The reviews have mentioned it several times over the last few months, so that alone would make me want to stay somewhere else.

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton food

The Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton is similar to that of many other Hampton Inn hotels in the United States. There was a decent sized breakfast area located near the front desk.

There were eggs, breakfast potatoes and sausage on the day that I was there, though I imagine it is switched up each day.

Also a waffle maker and drinks. There was also a variety of juices, cereal and muffins.

The Bottom Line – Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton review

If you are looking for a cheap suburban Columbus hotel, I thought that the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus/Easton had several things going for it. It was very easy to get to from the Interstate (or airport, or Downtown), and the price was decent. However, I can not recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus – Easton Area if you’re looking for a cheap northeastern Columbus hotel, near the Easton Towne Centre. Hotel reviews have indicated a prevalence of break-ins of cars in the parking lot, and they also gave me a room that wasn’t clean. I would look elsewhere.
