Both Hilton American Express cards currently have the highest sign up bonuses I’ve ever seen! For a limited time you the sign-up bonus on the Hilton Honorsâ„¢ Card from American Express has been increased to 80,000 points. The Hilton Honors Surpass Card from American Express is offering a bonus of 100,000 points. Here are the details for each – you can find signup links for both of these cards along with other featured hotel travel cards here.

Hilton Honorsâ„¢ Card from American Express offer

With the current offer you can earn a sign up bonus of 80,000 Honors points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months of card membership. The card earns 7x points on Hilton stays, 5x points on gas and groceries, and 3x points on everything else.

The Hilton Honorsâ„¢ Card from American Express also has no annual fee, and it grants you automatic silver status. If you spend $20,000 on the card in a calendar year, you’ll can earn Hilton gold status (which is really the tier to be at, in my opinion, since it gives you breakfast at Conrad, Curio, Hilton, DoubleTree, and Hilton Garden Inn brands).

I got the Hilton Honorsâ„¢ Card from American Express last year at what I thought was a great offer of 75,000 Honors points. It didn’t occur to me the bonus might be increased beyond that!

Hilton Honors Surpass Card from American Express offer

The Hilton Honors Surpass Card from American Express offers a whopping 100,000 Honors points plus a free weekend night after your first cardmember anniversary after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. The card earns 12x points on Hilton stays, 6x points at restaurants, gas stations, and supermarkets, and 3x points on everything else.

The card also grants you automatic Hilton gold status, and you can earn Diamond status by spending $40,000 on the card in a calendar year.

All of this comes with an annual fee of $75, which is entirely worth it if you stay at Hilton properties even occasionally (due to the perks from automatic gold status).

Conclusion

Either of these cards are worth consideration. Both offers are the best we’ve ever seen. If you haven’t previously had either of these cards, now might be the time to apply.  Remember you can only get 1 signup bonus per card per lifetime from American Express

With the recent changes to the Honors program, you can expect to get ~0.5 cent per Honors point. I’ve found that the value is fairly consistent among hotels, although you can occasionally still find some outsized value. Overall, I haven’t been entirely disappointed by the move to a revenue-based program.
