I’m always a bit torn about hotel reviews. Most of the hotel reviews that I see from other bloggers talk about super fancy and aspirational places and they show all the really nice features and amenities.  That’s nice, and I don’t mean to judge the Vendomers, but that’s just not me and not how I typically travel.

Still, I do think that it can be useful to get real-life reviews of places so that if you were exploring your hotel options, you could make an informed decision.  I do realize that nobody is going to read this review and say “OH MY THIS PLACE IS AMAZING I MUST VISIT LAGRANGE, GEORGIA” but I don’t think it’s unreasonable that if you were Googling around because you were ALREADY going there, and found this review, that it might help you decide whether you might or might not want to stay here vs. another local hotel.

The rooms are advertised as newly renovated, and they do look very nice.

It has the other regular stuff, including an outdoor pool, fitness center, business center, etc.

Getting there

It’s right off I-85 about an hour south of Atlanta, and the best part about it is that it’s only a Category 2 Hilton hotel, so it costs just 10,000 HHonors points for a night!  That’s maybe not on the same level as a PointBreak, but still a pretty good deal.

Definitely had a great time there – 5 stars for family travel.
