In 2026, while on a trip to the Columbus Ohio area, my wife and I stayed one night at the Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin. This Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin hotel review will give an idea of the different amenities and features of the hotel and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a Columbus Ohio hotel.
Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin location
The Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin is located at 6161 Parkcenter Circle, Dublin, OH 43017. It’s in the northwestern Columbus suburb of Dublin, near the Columbus Zoo. It’s also about 15-30 minutes from Ohio State, Downtown Columbus and the Columbus airport (CMH).
Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin cost
Cash prices at the Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin range anywhere from $100 to $200 or more, depending on what is going on. On my dates, the cash price was around $160, and about $190 after tax.
This makes using points a great option. It is currently a Hyatt Category 2 hotel, meaning it has cost me between 7,500 and 12,500 points per night depending on whether it is standard or peak season. On the night I stayed there, it was 10,000 points

Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin review – room
I reserved a 1 King room at the Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin – when you enter the room, there is a small sitting room with a pullout couch.
There is a small desk here with a TV
Continuing on you have the bed.
The bathroom was in the back near the bed, behind a door. It was a bit tight – you couldn’t open up the door to the bathroom all the way without hitting the edge of the bed.
Because the bathroom was so small, there was an additional sink in the front of the room.

Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms for World of Hyatt members. The speed doesn’t register as anything amazing but I never had a problem getting anything done while using it.
There is laundry that you have to pay for, meeting rooms and an outdoor pool.
The fitness center is a decent size for a Hyatt Place hotel
One unique feature of the Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin was a “wellness room”. I’m not sure what this was supposed to accomplish – it was right off of the breakfast area behind a curtain.

Parking is complimentary at the Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin, and there was no problem finding a space.

Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin breakfast is complimentary for all guests. There is a small breakfast area right next to the lobby, which also doubles as “The Placery” where you can buy food in the evenings.

There is more seating on the other side of the lobby.
The lobby also has a microwave that you can use if needed.
Breakfast had your standard fare of eggs, hash browns, rotating different meats (sausage, bacon, etc) and French Toast sticks, which was a bit better than similar hotels.
There were also various cold items and juices.

Hyatt Place Columbus / Dublin hotel review – the bottom line
Overall this was a good stay if you need to stay in the Columbus area or are visiting Ohio State or the Columbus Zoo. I would mostly recommend it on points but if you can pick it up on a cheap cash rate it’s super convenient to most things in the area.
